This page is under construction.
It is currently still in the design stage. I wanted to go ahead and create it though.
I was thinking about what I wanted to include on this. I was amazed by the first neocities website I saw. It was so unique compared to any other website I had ever seen. It reminded me of Yale School of Art's website. The websites seemed to break all of the rules defined by standard web design conventions. I was already gaining an appreciation for artistic experession in design. I knew I wanted to be apart of it somehow.
In thinking about this, I discovered why I prefered web design over graphic design. If you design a website, you are creating a place that people can go to and interact with. But that concept has been so far lost on the internet, where everything has to have a call to action or serve some marketable purpose. That is not the case here. In fact, the websites on neocities remind me so much of playing Club Penguin years ago. I decided to create a website and want it to have a purpose or function. But it needs to be separated from portfolio showcasing ( as in a professional manner ) or gaining clients.
I am thinking about adding art projects that I have abandoned, am currently working on, or plan to complete. I had a lot of anxiety around drawing when I was growing up and still carry a little of that with me. So I plan to use this to feature some work and motivate myself to do more.
Things I am thinking about including on this website:
Nothing more to see.
